The bike works fine. I’ve been using it regularly. The exercise bands under the handles are good for getting heart rate up. However, the digital readout is largely useless. When I checked the bike’s heartbeat monitor against my fitness tracker, the bike regularly had my heartbeat at 30-40bpm lower than my tracker. Of the three “buttons” at the bottom of the monitor, only the middle one (mode) has any responsiveness. The other buttons (reset and settings) do not respond at all, making it so that I can’t use the monitor for anything like single session workouts.None of that really matters, since the design choice to put the tablet holder is right at the bottom of the monitor was a terrible one, and putting a tablet in the holder makes the tablet cover the whole of the monitor. This means you have to choose between having a tablet or using the largely useless monitor.I got the bike for the exercise, so, whatever, but it’s pretty disappointing. If you’re hoping for a useful monitor for tracking your workouts, this is not it.On the other hand, the resistance bands, the adjustable frame (upright, recumbent, storage) is solid.
